Joining Us

If you’re interested in joining us as a 4×4 Response volunteer, please email us at contact@bc4x4r.org.

Once we have received your request you will be sent an application document outlining our expectations of you and your vehicle. When you have read through our application document fill in the application form and send it back to us where your application will be reviewed. In the most part this is a formality.

Anyone can join, you don’t need to own a Land Rover (but it occasionally helps!).

Beds & Cambs 4×4 Response have a large number of members driving all different makes of 4×4’s. Don’t worry if you’re not an experienced “off roader” or even if you don’t have a 4×4 as training and advice is available through the charity.

If you don’t own a 4×4 vehicle you can join as an associate member supporting the main team, you can even train with the response team and work towards becoming a full member at some stage in the future if you wish.
